Nuevo Padilla Mexico
Evangelizing with the New Trailer
Dear Gospel Partners and Friends,
We are overjoyed to share with you the mighty works God has done through our Evangelistic outreach in Nuevo Padilla, Mexico this past month. Through your prayers and support, the Gospel was preached with power and love, and lives were eternally transformed. During these meetings, 315 adults and many children received Jesus Christ as their personal Lord and Savior. This is the fruit of your faithful partnership with Soul Harvest Missions. Padilla has a population of 5,531. This means about 5.7% of the town got saved in just three nights! The total attendance was around 1,200 who heard and saw the Gospel demonstrated through healings and miracles. Our new trailer is an amazing evangelism tool. Praise God the harvest is ripe. Now we don't have to put in a small sickle, but can drive this harvest combine right into the field and go to work!
Highlights on Healing
Each of the three nights Jesus healed many people of all kinds of long term injuries, disease, and pain. This man received his hearing after being deaf in his left ear for 20 years! You can watch the video here see me test his hearing at a far distance. It was very exciting for the people to watch this miracle. Seeing the miracles that Jesus does really ignites and increases the faith of those in attendance. You can feel the shift in the atmosphere when the people hear and see these testimonies. Also a man, after receiving prayer, regained sight in his left eye that was blind. Each night our team of PDV Bible School students prayed and laid hands on the sick. Jesus healed people who could not walk at all, or climb stairs, or walk without a cane or crutch. It was so wonderful to see the Lord verifying His Gospel with healings and miracles. "And they went out and preached everywhere, the Lord working with them and confirming the word through the accompanying signs." Mark 16:20
Eternal Life
The bottom line
I have been giving altar calls for over 30 years now. It never gets old. No matter if it is hundreds, thousands, or just one who responds, my heart is deeply satisfied. In 1972, as a small boy, for a few seconds I witnessed a man trapped and burning to death in a car fire. I had nightmares about it for weeks. I can still see it in my mind. In 1997, I had a divine encounter where Jesus took me into hell for 14 hours, showing me what goes on there. After which, for months I wept and groaned for souls not to go but to escape. Among other things, what ended in minutes for the man in the crushed burning car never ends for those I saw there. I still weep and groan for souls to escape it. I am not in ministry for fortune or fame. The Heaven, salvation, and eternal life that are only available through Jesus Christ is the bottom line for me. As we witnessed the miracles of salvation, healing, and restoration in Padilla we are reminded of the words of Jesus in John 4:35. "Open your eyes and look at the fields! They are ripe for harvest." Thank you for standing with us to bring in this harvest of souls! Your prayers, giving, and encouragement, are making an eternal difference.
WHERE AND WHAT IS NEXT?
Shoshone Paiute Reservation
Sunday August 31st we are taking a healing team from Life Church Boise to Duck Valley Reservation in Owyhee, Nevada. This is a Shoshone Paiute indigenous community. The reservation is 400 square miles covering parts of southern Idaho and Northern Nevada. The community is comprised of approx. 300 native Americans. Their spiritual worldview draws from Northern Paiute belief systems, where life-energy (puha) interconnects all beings, humans, elements, and nature. Shamans (puhagim) maintain relationships with sacred landscapes like mountains, caves, and waterways, vital spaces of spiritual significance. This opportunity has come through our intercession on Thursdays and Saturdays. Brother Ernesto saw a native American woman in a vision. A few days later through a divine encounter, He ministered the baptism of Holy Spirit to her. She is on the tribal council and has invited us to come minister to her people. She shared with us that people are suffering from high rates of alcoholism, drug addiction, diabetes, cancer, and suicide among the young. Praying together in the spirit is a great adventure and great things come out of it!
September in Serbia
Charley will be traveling back to and ministering in Nothern Serbia this month and returning the 28th. He is taking Pastor Nick Yaksich with him. Nick pastors The Jesus Church in Colorado Springs. Nick's parents are both Serbians. Nick was born in Kansas and has never been to Serbia. He is so excited to travel with Charley. There they will be conducting a pastors and leaders retreat. Then ministering in churches and finishing with a Gospel crusade in a rural village. Please keep Charley and Nick in your prayers. Thank you for your heart to pray for us and Soul Harvest Missions. Thank you for your generous and faithful support of this part of God's kingdom minstry. His kingdom begins and expands with the new birth of a man or woman.
