A Harvest In Mexico

Julie and I are so excited to share what the Lord has been doing! This past month has been full of ministry, full of opportunities, and most of all, full of reminders of God’s faithfulness. As we look back on all that has happened, our hearts are overflowing with gratitude. We know that we are not doing this alone. Your prayers, encouragement, and faithful financial partnership are helping us take the gospel to people who desperately need to hear about Jesus. You are truly a part of every life touched and every soul reached.

A Wonderful Harvest in Mexico

This past month, we had the privilege of returning to Mexico and teaching 48 students at Palabra de Vida Bible Institute. There is something very special about standing before men and women who have set their hearts on knowing God’s word and preparing themselves to serve Him. As I taught, I couldn’t help but think about the lives these students will touch in the years ahead. We are not simply teaching a class but investing in future pastors, missionaries, evangelists, and servants of God who will carry the gospel to others.

While there, we also had the joy of ministering at Iglesias Palabra de Vida, and Gracia y Fe, in Cd Victoria. We were also at Iglesia Mas Gracia, in Monterrey,at the end of the trip. We preached the word, encouraged believers, and spent precious time strengthening and ministering alongside these local churches. But one of the greatest highlightshappened outside the church walls. Together with the Bible school students, we conducted an open-air evangelistic crusade. This was using the 18-wheeler ministry trailer that Pastors Bobby and Lynn so generously gave to our ministry. What an incredible tool this trailer has become. It allows us to take the gospel right into communities and bring the message of Jesus directly to the people. 

What happened next is why we go. 96 adults and 38 children received Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. That is 134 precious people who responded to the gospel! Each one of those numbers represents a person, life, family, story, and a soul precious to God. We give Him all the glory. There is no greater joy than seeing someone hear the good news of Jesus and respond by giving their life to Him. This is what it’s all about and this is why we go.

While in Mexico, I also had the opportunity to record two classes in English for a virtual Bible school. I love thinking about the reach these teachings can have. Long after we have returned home, the word will continue going forth, to train and equip students in the Philippines and other nations for years to come. 

Next Stop: Santa Cruz, California!

We’re not slowing down and the gospel keeps us going! This past week, I accompanied a team of eight men to Santa Cruz, California. We were working alongside Proclaim Jesus Church to evangelize, meet people, and share the good news of Jesus Christ. We went in expectation, believing that God had already gone before us. It was an incredible weekend.

Mexico Again in October

Plans are already underway for another evangelistic crusade in Mexico this October. Once again, we will be taking the big ministry trailer and using it as a platform to bring the gospel directly to the people. There are many moving pieces involved in preparing for a crusade. This includes: locations, transportation, schedules, ministry connections, finances, publicity, and countless other details. We would deeply appreciate prayers for wisdom, provision, favor, the right locations, connections, and for every detail to come together according to God’s plan. Also, that many more precious souls will come to know Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior.

You Are Part of This Harvest

We want to take a moment to simply say thank you. Sometimes, we wish we could take you with us and you could see firsthand what your partnership is helping accomplish.

When you pray for us, you are going with us.

When you encourage us, you strengthen us to keep going.

When you give financially, you help send the gospel further.

Every Bible school student who is trained, every pastor and church that is encouraged, every person who hears the gospel, and every soul who comes to Christ, is fruit that you have helped make possible. So when we say that 134 people received Jesus in Mexico, you can rejoice with us because this is your harvest too. Our hearts are full of expectation because there is so much more ahead.

Julie and I are deeply grateful that you are standing in faith with us. Thank you for believing in this ministry. Thanks for praying, giving, and helping us go. Together, we will continue to go preach, teach, and reach people with the life changing gospel of Jesus Christ.
