A Miraculous Summer
Julie and I pray this finds you well and experiencing the tremendous love and faithfulness of God. We are excited to share an incredible report from Colombia. I love strategy and maximizing every opportunity God gives us. This month was one of those special times where the Lord enabled us to accomplish what I jokingly call “killing three birds with one stone.” We just completed a dynamic evangelism campaign in Colombia alongside the alumni team from Life Bible College. The results were extraordinary.
Over the course of the outreach we saw:
For Street Ministry Results
• 317 physical healings
• 462 salvations
• 30 baptized in the Holy Spirit
For Crusade Services
• 115 physical healings
• 177 salvations
• 90 baptized in the Holy Spirit
• 12 water baptisms
One powerful testimony took place in the town square of La Ceja, standing just outside the massive Catholic cathedral. While ministering to the people, Jesus healed a young woman suffering from severe ovarian pain. As we continued to pray, the cysts in her breast completely disappeared. Astonished, she began weeping tears of joy. The Lord also delivered her from demonic oppression, and right there on the spot she gladly gave her life to Jesus.
What happened next was even more beautiful. Seeing this miracle unfold, her friend also opened her heart and received Christ. Later that evening, the young woman who had been healed came to the crusade service. She was water baptized there and then filled with the Holy Spirit. I spoke with her afterwards and her face was literally glowing with the presence of God. She looked at me and said, “I feel so clean.”
We witnessed transformation after transformation. Four blind eyes were healed. A man who had been unable to walk normally for six years was completely restored. Another man, after testing his eyesight and realizing he could suddenly see clearly, fell to his knees overcome with gratitude. He began worshiping Jesus right there in public.
The five churches partnering with us were deeply encouraged, strengthened, and set on fire as they witnessed God moving through miracles, salvation, and healing. At the church in El Carmen, many believers received the baptism of the Holy Spirit, along with those who had given their lives to Christ that same evening.
We were blessed to serve alongside an amazing team of 14 Life Bible College students, 7 native translators, and members from our church there. As well as other local congregations who ministered daily in the streets, plazas, businesses, and homes throughout the region. One of the greatest joys for me personally was watching the students grow day by day in their faith, courage, and confidence. For one week, they stepped directly into a new chapter of the book of Acts. They served with tremendous humility, patience, and joy. There was no complaining but only grateful hearts willing to serve however needed.
What I love most is seeing the full picture of what God accomplished:
1. The lost were saved. 2. The sick were healed. 3. Churches were strengthened. 4. Believers were activated to do the works of Jesus Christ.
My prayer is that every person who came on this trip will continue living a lifestyle of ministry wherever the Lord takes them in the future. They were truly an answer to prayer for the towns throughout the Valley of San Nicolás, Antioquia. We are deeply grateful for the sacrifices they made to come and labor with us.
Thanks for sending us to Colombia. Your prayers have sustained us and this faithful generosity has enabled us to continue carrying the Gospel to the nations for 27 years of full-time ministry. This month, we will be traveling to Cd. Victoria, Mexico, where we will be teaching at the PDV Bible Institute and leading another evangelistic crusade. This will be together with the PDV students using the ministry’s 18-wheeler Gospel trailer.
Never forget this truth, that everywhere we go, you go. Every soul we reach for Jesus, you help reach. Every life transformed is fruit that abounds to your account. Thank you!
With all our love and gratitude,
Charley & Julie
